1. Qué es IO

IO es un juego de hábitos gratuito, en forma de aplicación web instalable. Es una herramienta de motivación y entretenimiento. No es un servicio médico, psicológico ni de asesoría profesional, y no reemplaza la ayuda de un profesional de la salud.

2. Gratis y sin compras con dinero

IO es gratis y no tiene anuncios. Las monedas, el XP y los objetos del juego se ganan jugando y no se compran con dinero real. No tienen valor fuera del juego y no se pueden cambiar por dinero.

3. Tu cuenta

Puedes jugar sin cuenta. Para guardar tu partida en la nube y aparecer en el ranking, inicias sesión con Google o con un código enviado a tu correo.
Debes dar datos verdaderos y cuidar el acceso a tu correo y a tu cuenta. Eres responsable de lo que ocurra con tu cuenta.
Debes tener al menos 14 años para crear una cuenta.

4. Uso aceptable

Al usar IO te comprometes a no:

hacer trampa en el ranking (por ejemplo, manipular tu XP, tu nivel o tu racha, o usar cuentas falsas);
usar nombres, textos o apariencias ofensivos, discriminatorios, que suplanten a otra persona o que infrinjan derechos de otros;
acosar a otras personas en las salas o con los me gusta;
intentar acceder sin permiso a sistemas o datos, sobrecargar el servicio, o copiar y revender IO;
usar IO para algo ilegal.

Podemos quitar contenido, reiniciar puntajes o suspender cuentas que incumplan estas reglas.

5. Tu contenido

Los nombres, hábitos y textos que escribes siguen siendo tuyos. Nos das permiso para guardarlos y mostrarlos dentro de IO según la función que uses (por ejemplo, tu nombre en el ranking o en una sala), solo para hacer funcionar el servicio.

6. Propiedad intelectual

El juego IO, su nombre, diseño, código, arte y textos pertenecen a su autor, salvo las librerías de terceros que conservan sus propias licencias. Puedes usar IO para tu uso personal; no puedes copiarlo ni redistribuirlo sin permiso.

7. Disponibilidad y cambios

IO se ofrece «tal cual». Puede tener errores, cambiar, tener interrupciones o dejar de existir. Podemos modificar funciones, reiniciar temporadas o ajustar el equilibrio del juego. Trataremos de avisar cuando un cambio importante afecte tu partida.

8. Límite de responsabilidad

En la medida que lo permita la ley, no somos responsables de daños indirectos o de la pérdida de datos o de progreso del juego. Te recomendamos usar la función de copiar el código de tu partida para tener un respaldo. Nada en estos términos limita derechos que la ley no permita limitar.

9. Terminar tu uso

Puedes dejar de usar IO cuando quieras y pedir que borremos tu cuenta escribiendo al correo de contacto. Nosotros también podemos suspender o cerrar cuentas que incumplan estos términos.

10. Cambios a estos términos

Podemos actualizar estos términos. Publicaremos la versión nueva en esta página con su fecha. Si sigues usando IO después del cambio, significa que lo aceptas.

11. Ley aplicable

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la provincia de Québec y las leyes federales de Canadá aplicables. Los conflictos se resolverán ante los tribunales competentes de Québec, sin perjuicio de los derechos que tengas como consumidor.

By using IO (iogamelife.com) you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use IO. How we use personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

1. What IO is

IO is a free habit game delivered as an installable web app. It is a motivation and entertainment tool. It is not a medical, psychological or professional advice service, and it does not replace help from a health professional.

2. Free, with no purchases using money

IO is free and has no ads. Coins, XP and in-game items are earned by playing and cannot be bought with real money. They have no value outside the game and cannot be exchanged for money.

3. Your account

You can play without an account. To save your game in the cloud and appear in the ranking, you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email.
You must provide accurate information and protect access to your email and your account. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

By using IO you agree not to:

cheat in the ranking (for example, manipulating your XP, level or streak, or using fake accounts);
use names, text or appearances that are offensive, discriminatory, impersonate someone else or infringe others' rights;
harass other people in rooms or with likes;
try to access systems or data without permission, overload the service, or copy and resell IO;
use IO for anything illegal.

We may remove content, reset scores or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

The names, habits and text you write remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them within IO according to the feature you use (for example, your name in the ranking or in a room), only to run the service.

6. Intellectual property

The IO game, its name, design, code, art and text belong to its author, except third-party libraries, which keep their own licenses. You may use IO for personal use; you may not copy or redistribute it without permission.

7. Availability and changes

IO is provided "as is". It may have bugs, change, be interrupted or stop existing. We may modify features, reset seasons or adjust game balance. We will try to give notice when an important change affects your game.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data or game progress. We recommend using the "copy my game code" feature to keep a backup. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using IO at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to the contact email. We may also suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using IO after the change, it means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of Québec, without prejudice to any rights you have as a consumer.
